講「如果…就…」。注意 if 子句用現在式,主句先用 will。
事實／必然:兩邊現在式
講一定會嘅結果:If it rains, the ground gets wet.(零條件句)
- If you heat water, it boils.
- If the shop is closed, I come back later.
將來可能:if + 現在式,主句 will
講有可能發生:If you ask, they will help.(第一條件句)。常見錯誤:if 後面唔好用 will。
- If it rains, I will stay home.
- If you call now, they will answer.
